Cascadian Pale Ale
American Brown Ale America is a big country with many styles of beer. Sometimes we make up new styles of beer. Enter the newest crisp hoppy take on an old world style from CBC. The name derives from the rich brewing history of the Pacific Northwest, where they first took the dark colorings of the stout style and turned it into the deliciously IPA level hoppy Cascadian Dark Ale. We at CBC thought why not make the pale ale version of this heralded style. [wpex more="Read more" less="Read less"] Cascadian Pale Ale is brown in color with a lightly toasted malt character up front that fades into a smooth dry dark chocolate finish. Crisp and dry on the palette, not a lot of crystal malt here. A pleasing aroma of earthy citrus is the hallmark of the classic Pacific Northwest hops Cascade, Chinook, and Centennial. A late addition of a Styrian Aurora adds a little bit of spice to the hop finish. California Ale yeast finishes the beer dry and adds a subtle hint of fruit esters to the beer, a trait common in Cascadian Beers. Teardrop $6 Pitcher $23 Tower $37[/wpex]Original Gravity
